Hello Ladies! Hope you all are doing well! I’m doing well. The boys have been so good. We are getting a schedule that works for us and we can’t wait for some more summer fun!
Today I wanted to share a few things I do for me. As a stay at home mom I think it’s easy to let certain things go. I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t. I want to keep up with things I love to do for myself.
Everyone is different, and we all have unique things that make us feel good. So I say do them and remember to take care of yourself. We have an entire house of loved ones that count on us everyday so it’s important to keep ourselves feeling good.
Exercise is probably one of the most important that I do 5 times a week. As I get older I have to start worrying about different health issues. I recently had a physical and everything checked out great. I feel having an exercise plan that fits you is key to a healthy life. Not to mention exercising has helped me with anxiety. It’s something I do alone for myself. I wake up early to get it done. With the boys home I wake up early so I can have that time to myself before they get up. It’s my kind of meditation in the morning. I’ve been hooked on The fitness Marshall on YouTube. I do about 4 dance videos and I’ll do a few workouts with weights. I have seen such a difference on the outside and most important on the inside of how I see myself. I say try it! Create a workout plan for you and try to do something that you enjoy. I never leave my house to workout so you don’t have to belong to a gym or have a personal trainer. Good luck ladies!
Alone time! I’m always with the kids or the hubby. So I make sure to get some alone time away from home. Some of my favorite alone time things to do. I go shopping even if it’s just to look. I love walking the mall and just feeling free, browsing at my favorite stores. Grabbing a coffee alone. Or just going for a drive alone listening to music in the car with the windows down. That’s the best.
Grooming! Something I promised myself is to keep up with grooming. I get haircuts every 5 weeks to make me feel good. I get Mani and Pedi’s on a regular basis. I have eyelash extensions that make me feel good. These might seem petty to others but to me it’s important. I love feeling good on the outside too. It’s for me and only for me. Not to mention I count these as alone time. And the hubby is so good and encouraging. He loves this about me.
Going out for drinks! I enjoy hanging out with friends or the hubby. It’s a time I can have adult conversation and just relax. Nothing wrong with having a little time to enjoy! Cheers ladies!
