Hello Ladies! Hope you all are having a wonderful week. I feel like it’s been so long since I’ve written. I’m barely getting used to the every Wednesday Blog post. Eventually I will go back to twice a week. But for now every Wednesday it will be. I want to try to make those worth your reading! I can’t believe the holidays are coming so fast. It’s crazy! I am getting a little stressed. But will all get through it.
Next week on the blog I’ll be giving a little life update and my monthly blog update. I wanted to do this up into my first year of blogging. It’s important for me to keep all of you updated with my journey. So with that said let’s get into this fun post.
Today I wanted to share these outfits. As you can see my little guy is with me. He’s getting so big, Almost 4 to be exact. As we get into the colder months ahead. And all of us Mom’s know these kids grow like weeds. Every fall/winter we have to buy them new clothes. When I’m getting ready to buy Breaker new clothes. I always buy him very simple pieces to start. Denim jeans, a color denim, some neutral cords. Tees always basic color. Occasionally I’ll buy him some Tees that have a design, Like the one he’s wearing here. But that’s very simple, I try to stay away from too much color. For his pop of color I buy him fun socks. Because it’s cheaper to buy a colored sock, so he can wear with anything. Rather than buying a colorful shirt that he can only wear with certain things. Another staple I like to have for him is a Denim jacket. One day I’ll take a pic of all his denim jackets from the first to recent. It’s just a must for me to have for him. They look so cute on and make any outfit look cool. One of my favorite things to put on him are joggers a cute Tee and his denim jacket. I know sometimes we think girl clothes can be more fun, And yes they have more options. But I have found ways to make dressing boys pretty fun. It’s ok to be bold with socks and show them off. If your Son likes to wear hats be bold with a cute hat! Shoes are always a fun way to dress up a boy’s outfit as well! And just remember you don’t always have to match so much. I love a funky combo. Something I always keep in mind when dressing my little guy is 3 colors. I like to have at least 3 colors on him. It really makes his outfits fun! Hope this helps out some mommies with boys!! Or even some of you ladies that want to give your big guy some styling tips,LOL! It works for all! Hope you lovelies have a great rest of the week and a fabulous weekend!

Hello Hermosas! Monday has me a little shook today! It came way too fast and I feel like I had so much to do this morning! Hence why my blog post is a little later than usual! But it’s up, YES! Today I just wanted to share some back to school ideas for our lovely teenagers. Sorry if this is just boy items, LOL! I’m a mom of boys. But girls are a little more open to shopping and picking their own cute stuff out. As for boys well at least my 13-year-old he’s not a big shopper. But these are David approved! I’ll list my favorite stores for our growing boys. My son is on the taller side, so we are in-between kids and adult sizes. I also love to keep his back to school items simple and versatile.
For Clothes we usually prefer H&M, not only do they have the newest styles it’s also pretty affordable. I usually go for a dark denim, light denim and black. You can’t go wrong with these colors. We also try to stick to solid Tees, so he can either throw on a cool jacket or cardigan once the weather gets cold. A jean jacket is such a good staple item to have as well.
For shoes My son is a big VANS fan. I like them as well because they last pretty well. He usually goes for the fun print ones. It’s like his accessory. But also has more simple styles. These are his picks!
Socks ok so if you’re a mom you know socks disappear, LOL! It’s like where do they go?! Our favorite place to get socks is Urban outfitters. They always have a 3 for $20 deal and the quality of the socks are really good. David prefers a more printed fun sock again it’s like his accessory.
Back packs I’ve always bought his from Tilly’s they always have great deals on back packs for back to school!
This rounds up my Back to school shopping list for David. Now it’s time to get those school supplies! Our favorite is Target they have the best deals and not to mention a one stop shop! Good luck Mamas on the back to school madness! I hope this was helpful!
Hi Hermosas! Can’t believe it’s the weekend again. I’m not complaining! I also can’t believe our kiddos start school soon. My oldest starts mid-August. I’ll be doing a teen back to school post soon, So look out for that. I’m also feeling mixed emotions, because my little one is starting pre-school in August. I was very fortunate to stay home with him since birth, and he’s almost 4. So this little guy needs to start school. I’m excited for him to get out and learn to socialize in school. And for me I’m looking forward to having some time to myself. I’m sure every Mama can relate!
I thought a pre-school back to school post would be cool! I know us Mamas have to get back to school shopping done. I’m sharing a brand I love and is totally affordable. I also like that they are a more comfortable wear for the kids. Not to mention easy for those still learning to potty on their own(yes that’s mine), Lol!
I put together a few outfit choices. Breaker owns most of these items and they are so versatile. I don’t have a little girl, but I love to look at all the cute items they have for little ladies. I put together a few girl choices that I thought were cute. All these items can be purchased on Target.com or in-store. Breaker is wearing a 4T. Which still has room for our ever so fast growing little ones. Hope I was able to help with some back to school shopping! Ladies don’t forget I have a giveaway going on. In my Beauty post favorites under $20. Giveaway ends Monday. Hope you lovely ladies have a great weekend!
Hello Hermosas! This post is for my Mamas out there! First let me formally introduce my sweet little Angel, Breaker. He’s my 3 year old, actually almost 4 “sad tears!”. He’s a Ham in front of the camera. He’s our crazy, energetic, loving, happy little guy! A little story on his name, Breaker! With my pregnancy being a little older it wasn’t the easiest. Soon I’ll write on both my pregnancies since there is a 10 year gap. Back to his name, Daddy wanted something cool. In my belly he was crazy like he is in real life, jumping all over! I knew he needed a name that would fit his personality. Daddy loves break dancing, and no joke, I felt like at times he was break dancing in my belly!! So one day Daddy said” how about Breaker?”. I loved it, honestly we never even had another name, It was his name from the start. Breaker is the perfect fit!
I wanted to share with you all a DIY, I do for a lot of Breakers clothes! Us mamas know how fast they grow and how pricy clothes can’t get. Especially when you have more than one kid. I have a teen so his clothes can get pretty pricy! This is nothing so amazing, it’s pretty simple because I can’t sew, lol! The picture above, I wish I took a before picture, but I forgot! I basically turned a long sleeve button up into a sleeveless button up. I cut the sleeves off really carefully with good scissors. Normally I like to pass down Breakers clothes to relatives. If they are in good condition or we donate. But occasionally, I have a hard time parting with items I love. This is a way to get more wears. So any-kind of shirt or pants that you know come winter they will not fit, But you love the style. Just cut them! I managed to take a before of the pants I cut to make him some stylish shorts.
Hope you Mamas found this helpful! I’m sure it’s nothing new, But I wanted to give a few examples of how we can stretch out these kiddos clothes! Hope you all have a great weekend!
