How to Fall transition your wardrobe

How to Fall transition your wardrobe

Hello My friends!!!!! It feels like forever since I’ve written. Taking 2 weeks off was nice, I feel refreshed and ready to BLOG! I think just like any job you need time off to give your body a recharge. I may not get paid to do this but it’s work and sometimes not easy, So taking the time off was much needed. I’m so happy it’s fall, I bet you haven’t heard that on social media, LOL! No but really I’m all about fall! I love many things that come with it. Cooler weather is great, more family time for holidays, pumpkin spice, halloween and the fashion! Who doesn’t love a great coat! Well in LA we don’t see cooler weather until November. So what does a Cali girl to do for fall fashion when it’s still Hot!

I have the answer, Before you start pulling out the boots and jeans. I’m here to transition your summer wardrobe into some simple Fall outfits. First I want to talk about a white button down blouse, If you don’t own one, Get one! Like really go get one. You won’t regret it. You can wear it so many different ways, If you want to see more way on how to style a white button down, Head over to my instagram!

The way I think is a great way to welcome fall when it’s still hot is rock your jean shorts with long sleeves! A light weight top that you won’t sweat your booty off but when it gets chilly at night you will feel comfortable. Both my tops are from HM. They have great selections and inexpensive. You can also wear them with jeans and boots once it get colder outside.

I’m loving these kitten heels I purchased from Zara, I mean how cute are these shoes! I think great dupes for he Chanel sling backs. And not to mention you can dress them up or down like I did. They just added an extra chic touch to my simple outfit.

Fall is fun to layer once it’s cold enough but I think these are great transition outfits when it’s still warm out!

Hope you liked this post and I’m so happy to be back. Happy Fall my friends. Till next post.

How to make a $10 dress chic

How to make a $10 dress chic

Hello Ladies! Hope you are all well. So my kids are officially done with summer. Both boys are back in school. We are back to getting our school routine down and both had great first days. As for myself, this week already is a bit overwhelming. Just trying to get stuff done and run errands. I already made a promise, that I would try to take some of my free time for myself. I’m always trying to get a million things done in my free time. On Monday since it was my first day to have free time. I really over did it. I ran so many errands in 3 hours that I felt exhausted. I will not do that again.

imageimageFacetune_20-08-2018-13-50-31

Today I wanted to share a simple look. The best thing is the dress was under $10. I mean who doesn’t like a great deal. Such a simple dress like this you can wear it so many ways. I added some cute mauve color sandal heels and some fun earrings. Super simple yet chic. I would wear this to a more casual day wedding or any day event.  With this color you can add any color shoe. Even a pump will look great.

Another way I would style this dress for a more fun casual wear. I would add a white tee under and pair it with some cute sneakers, some flat shoes or sandals. Even add a jean jacket over with a pair of bootie boots for the fall. Such a versatile dress. Comes in different colors and some prints.

I wanted to give a short update. So if you’ve been reading my blog you know I was updating every month on how I felt and where I was with blogging. Last month was my year and I do have a post on that. It’s been going well. I’ve reached out to different brands and people on possible collaborations. Unfortunately I haven’t booked any. It can be discouraging. I’m still trying to grow my following. It can be overwhelming. I have enough confidence in myself to keep going and keep trying. I know it takes time and all I can do is be consistent and keep moving forward. I don’t let the No’s or the ones who just ignore get to me. To me it’s business not personal. These people don’t know me so I don’t ever let it bring me down. A learning lesson in any kind of business don’t ever let it get to you personally. If anything it pushes me more to try harder.

Always thank you to all of you who always take the time to read my blogs. Till next post.

Dressing the “Bust”

Dressing the “Bust”

Hello Ladies! Hope you all are having a great week. Today’s blog post is kind of funny! If you see by my title, LOL! You’ve heard the term ” Dressing the bump” Well this Mama has to dress the Bust! I’ve had a bigger bust since elementary school. I haven’t been the happiest with them either. I was always very self-conscious about my bigger bust. I remember in elementary this kid started a rumor that I stuffed my bra. I’m like really. Well that was fun. I think the only time I opened my arms to my bigger bust was in high school, LOL! They were perky and cute. Well fast forward to having kids and breastfeeding both my sons. I breastfed my second till he was 2 1/2! So these Bust have been through some tough times,LOL!

Today I wanted to share some tips on what I look for when buying clothes to flatter my figure. As women I think we are so hard on our bodies. I’ve gotten a lot better on loving my body and just excepting what I was given. To be honest starting my Blog was scary because I’m not a skinny young girl anymore. I’ve had 2 kids, I’m hitting close to 40, Our bodies change as we get older. I really try to keep active. If it’s running errands, doing house work or getting in a nice workout. It’s important to me at my age to do some kind of daily activity.

One of the hardest things when I buy clothes is the fact that my Bust are larger than my body frame. So because of that, I appear larger than what I am. I tend to always go toward the baggy top style. My guy always tells me to not buy such big tops. But like I said I’m also a little self-conscious. One thing I’ve tried to do is if the top is a more baggy fit, Just grab a cute belt like I did here. It will accentuate the waist more. So this is Tip #1. I’ve also like the style of a mesh, sheer top with a very nice bra underneath. This is more daring but will also show off just a little without being too much. I’ve linked a really cute affordable sheer top below. That is my Tip #2. Now one of the hardest fashion crisis I have faced with my Big bust is shopping for a dress. Ok so shopping for a dress can’t be a nightmare when you are larger in the Bust area and smaller on the bottom. The dress is never going to fit perfect. I remember in high school, I was lucky my Aunt made my prom dresses. Because it was always a struggle to find a more elegant dress that would fit. This past year I had a wedding to attend and I was already thinking great what can I wear. I ended up finding a really cute affordable dress at Zara. The trick is to find a dress that doesn’t have a zipper in the back. I look for a dress that I can just pull over with no zipper or buttons. I usually can go with a small in a dress like that. Because it is made a bit more relaxed fit. I did link a dress down below that is pretty much the style I would look for. I’m actually going to be ordering this for a baby shower I’m attending. It’s simple but you can make it look casual or dressy! That’s key! Well ladies that is Tip #3. I hope you liked this post. I hope it helps.

We need to love what we have and flaunt it with style! Till next post! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Hello Ladies! Hope you all are having a wonderful week. I feel like it’s been so long since I’ve written. I’m barely getting used to the every Wednesday Blog post. Eventually I will go back to twice a week. But for now every Wednesday it will be. I want to try to make those worth your reading! I can’t believe the holidays are coming so fast. It’s crazy! I am getting a little stressed. But will all get through it.

Next week on the blog I’ll be giving a little life update and my monthly blog update. I wanted to do this up into my first year of blogging. It’s important for me to keep all of you updated with my journey. So with that said let’s get into this fun post.

IMG_3442IMG_3433IMG_3414IMG_3439IMG_3422IMG_3418

Today I wanted to share these outfits. As you can see my little guy is with me. He’s getting so big, Almost 4 to be exact. As we get into the colder months ahead. And all of us Mom’s know these kids grow like weeds. Every fall/winter we have to buy them new clothes. When I’m getting ready to buy Breaker new clothes. I always buy him very simple pieces to start. Denim jeans, a color denim, some neutral cords. Tees always basic color. Occasionally I’ll buy him some Tees that have a design, Like the one he’s wearing here. But that’s very simple, I try to stay away from too much color. For his pop of color I buy him fun socks. Because it’s cheaper to buy a colored sock, so he can wear with anything. Rather than buying a colorful shirt that he can only wear with certain things. Another staple I like to have for him is a Denim jacket. One day I’ll take a pic of all his denim jackets from the first to recent. It’s just a must for me to have for him. They look so cute on and make any outfit look cool. One of my favorite things to put on him are joggers a cute Tee and his denim jacket. I know sometimes we think girl clothes can be more fun, And yes they have more options. But I have found ways to make dressing boys pretty fun. It’s ok to be bold with socks and show them off. If your Son likes to wear hats be bold with a cute hat! Shoes are always a fun way to dress up a boy’s outfit as well! And just remember you don’t always have to match so much. I love a funky combo. Something I always keep in mind when dressing my little guy is 3 colors. I like to have at least 3 colors on him. It really makes his outfits fun! Hope this helps out some mommies with boys!! Or even some of you ladies that want to give your big guy some styling tips,LOL! It works for all! Hope you lovelies have a great rest of the week and a fabulous weekend!

Hello Ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I’m sitting here writing this, and I feel so bad that I’m ok in my house with my family. While others in the world are suffering and trying to survive. I pray that those being affected by these horrible natural disasters find some light. I will continue to pray hard for all. My prayers are with you.

If you have been following my Blog and Instagram you probably already noticed I’m a really simple dresser. I don’t like to fuss with outfits, I don’t wear spanks, It’s like “no thank you , I like to breathe.” I don’t like a ton of accessories, I’m just simple. Not to mention I love a good deal and versatile pieces that can work with a casual day out, running errands or maybe a fun night out. Today I’m sharing one way I would style a very simple T-shirt dress. I bought this dress at H&M for only $9.99 and I can come up with about 3 ways to wear it that will make the dress look different. The cool thing about this type of dress is you can wear it when it’s Hot outside or even on those cooler days ahead of us. I paired the dress with a Jean jacket tied around the my waste, I love to do this. It can also help with giving you a waste with a more boxy dress or can hide your belly like I do, LOL! It’s such a 90’s look, I mean who doesn’t love a cool 90’s look, LOL! I’m totally being sarcastic. I was in high school in the 90’s and I can’t find myself dressing like I did in high school in my late 30’s! I added some very dainty accessories, a simple gold chain, simple bracelets and my fav gold hoops. I live in my ray bans I just love them! I hope you all don’t get tired of my Louis Vuitton bag it’s just my everyday bag, If  you’re in the market for a high-end bag. This one is so good I take it everywhere! The shoes I bought last year I’ll link the place below, very cute shoes mostly trendy but very good deals. I hope you all liked this simple outfit, It was so comfy to wear! Have a good week ladies!

Summer to Fall style

Summer to Fall style

Hello Ladies! Another week to accomplish our goals! Hope you all had a nice weekend. This crazy weather has been teasing me, LOL! Last week the weather was so nice, that cool air that I love. But this weekend and week! I’m a little over the heat! I need some brisk cool air and some fall leaves! Not to mention some pumpkin spice! So today in honor of my mood, I’m sharing an outfit that would be perfect for that nice fall day! I would wear this outfit for a fun date night. Change the shoes up for a more casual look to a sporting event or add some boots for a fun girls night out! This bomber is so cute and fun you can wear it with jeans, skirt, shorts or dress!

IMG_1902IMG_1903IMG_1905IMG_1898IMG_1907

This bomber is from Target, it’s part of the fall collection from Who what wear collection. If you’ve been reading my blog you know I’m a fan of this collection at target. The styles are really cute and the prices are great. They have casual clothes and pretty nice work attire. I paired it with a simple white tank and some comfy fitting jeans. I found the jeans at Zara. They are curvy jeans, so comfortable! They have so much stretch I feel like I’m wearing my leggings! Hope you all enjoyed my first fall post! It’s my favorite season so you will see lot’s more.

Mommy and Mini Street style

Mommy and Mini Street style

Hello Ladies! I hope you all had a great week! YAY, for the weekend! Seriously this mama needs a drink, LOL! I wanted to share this simple street style, if you ever run into me most likely it’s what I’m wearing! Back in the day when I did 9-5 I lived in heels. Now that I’m a stay at home Mommy, I live in sneakers or sandals. Funny because about 5 years ago I think I owned one pair of sneakers and that was just for working out. A mommy with boys for some reason you find your more sporty side! I’m not at all mad at that. But I’m as girly as they come so I always add a girly twist! My special little guest today is my baby Breaker! He’s my favorite accessory!

IMG_1127

A few months ago I attended a Nike pop-up shop in West Hollywood with my sister. It was super cool. We went specifically for these Nike Cortez limited edition sneakers, I loved that they had pink on them. Back in my day these shoes weren’t as trendy and in certain neighborhoods you just didn’t wear them. So this was kind of cool to see how this shoe has evolved. I’m loving them!

I paired them with some overalls that I’ve had for a few years, along with this cute puffy girly sleeved tee! I love how the tee just gave it a more girly twist. My mini is in head to toe H&M, I love overalls on little ones! He’s such a good sport when it comes to taking pictures with Mommy!

I’ll link some similar styles to what Both Breaker and I are wearing! Hope you ladies liked this casual street style with a cool shoe and a girly twist! Enjoy your Weekend loves!
