Amazon what?! My random finds.

Amazon what?! My random finds.

Happy Wednesday and Inauguration Day! Hope you all are well! Hope you all are staying safe and I really hope your mind is staying positive! I can’t stress how important staying positive is. Too much negativity in the world.

Ok so today I thought it would be fun to share all my random Amazon finds! I mean some aren’t random but I’d say my Amazon favorites list is pretty random! I think everyone can agree they’ve been online ordering a lot more these last 10 months! I mean it makes me happy. And not to mention I really need this stuff, wink! I’ll be sharing my favorites list below so you can shop my list! Thought that would be easier then tagging everything. I only listed my absolute favorites. Because not all my Amazon purchases have been a hit!

On my list you will find some kids school stuff that have helped us with school at home so if you are a parent with kids home schooling you’ll find some fun stuff there. One of my favorites I posted are the sea grass baskets that come in a set of 3 different sizes. I use those to store my boys Xbox! It hold the counsel, done games and cords in all 3! Seriously my favorite purchase. Another one of my absolute favorites was my steamer purchase. I was skeptical but it works great! With covid I like to steam my floors once a week! It also has attachments that you can steam the grout on your floors(it works!) and I use it to steam my clothes. All in all great steamer. Another great find was my water kettle. I have tee every morning and night so this is so so convenient! Great purchase. Everything else I love as well! Check my list out random but a little bit of everything!

Well that’s the end of my random Amazon purchases! Till next post!

Let me reintroduce myself

Let me reintroduce myself

Hello friends! Happy new year! I really want to wish you all a beautiful healthy start to 2021. I’m sure this wasn’t an easy year to start, but nonetheless I think we all need to stay positive!

With that I wanted to start the year on a positive note over here on the Blog! And I’ve noticed I have a few more blog followers, so welcome and I hope you find my Blog a happy fun place to stop! So with that I wanted to reintroduce myself!

My name is Lisa, I am a fiancé to Carlos. I’m a mother of 2 boys David 16 almost 17 and Breaker 7. They are my heart and soul. I am a stay at home mom, but to be honest I hate that label. I’ve never liked it. I’m almost embarrassed to say it at times. I feel like a better name should be given to women who stay home with their children. Because we are definitely not just staying home. I know now that a “stay at home mom” is just as busy as someone who works but I’ll leave that for another Blog post. I was in healthcare for 16 years when I had my youngest, so I decided to stay home with him. My plan was to start part time once he was in school full time. Part time because I want to be the one to pick my kids up. Especially my highschool son! It’s important I’m there for him. Well my plan didn’t go that well. But before that I decided to start Blogging to keep my brain stimulated and to not lose who I am at home. I’ve been blogging for 3 1/2 years now, I wish I can put more effort into my blog. I really hope I can this year. This pandemic hit me where it left me really thinking about what I want to do. I still don’t know, lol! But what I do know is I want to continue blogging. I swear I feel something in the universe wants me to continue.

That’s pretty much about 1/4 of who I am. And all I’ll share right now. I plan to use my Blog as a positive fun space for anyone. I don’t want to be so serious. Life has been so crazy for all, we all need an outlet! In the beginning of the pandemic I felt insensitive to continue blogging about stuff I liked, fashion, beauty, mom hacks etc. but after almost a year of this, I need to keep on blogging. I like to escape to blogs, Pinterest, or a fun story everyday, just to remind myself that life will go on. I have some blog post planned and I really hope you come to visit! Till next post! Stay healthy.

Thankful for my boys

Thankful for my boys

Hello my friends! I’ve missed you. Sorry no blog post last week, but that crazy bug that was going around was insane. I’m so glad we survived it and my oldest and the hubby never got it. My poor mom ended up getting it because she came to help me with the kids when I got it. So yes to keep on theme with my blog, I’m thankful we are over it and thankful for my hubby and mom to help out when I was down.

but for my last post of my being thankful month, although I’m thankful everyday I wanted to just share this month.

My boys are what I’m most thankful for. My David was my first piece of my heart and he has taught me so much more than what I probably have taught him. He is so special and such a good son. So for him I’m thankful.

My second is the hubby. I met him at a time that I was accepting who I was and learning how to love myself. I think him and I knew we were meant to be. It wasn’t easy in the beginning ,but we have learned who we are together. And that is important. He’s my best friend and I love us! So for him I’m thankful.

Last but definitely not least is Breaker my baby. When I found out I was pregnant with him I couldn’t believe it. I wasn’t feeling the best and I didn’t want to get attached to the idea of being pregnant I thought I was losing the baby. My breaker and I went through a lot. He’s my strong boy, I do have a post on my pregnancy story with him. I think with all I went through him and I are bonded in a way that I love so much. If he’s scared, hurt or sad he needs mommy. He’s also the one that’s gonna give me a full head of greys,Lol! So for him I’m thankful.

My boys are my heart, they are pieces of my puzzle called life. I’m so thankful God gave me these boys. A very Happy thanksgiving to everyone that has been on this blog life with me. For you I’m thankful. Till next post!

How to stay sane on spring break

How to stay sane on spring break

Hello Ladies! Hope you all are enjoying this nice weather in LA. I know we are. And this nice weather is just in time for spring Break with the kids. Both my boys will be off for a week. And I try to keep us busy to keep screen time down and mom from going crazy. So I wanted to share some ideas that will keep the kids busy at any age and budget friendly.

LACMA is on the top of our list. My older son loves museums and he loves photography so it’s a win win. And my little one likes it there as well. The best thing is they offer NexGen for kids and teens, once you sign up for this kids will have membership until 18 and one kid NexGen will get any one adult in free as well. So not only is this a great place to go its budget friendly. FullSizeRender

LA Zoo is awesome. What we are going to do is get a family membership, it’s such a great deal. And I plan on taking the boys during summer early in the morning to get some fresh air and some exercise as well. Such a good place for the fam with kids at any age.

Matinee movies are always good to catch while the kids are on break. It’s way less than the normal price and it gets the kids out for a bit.

I will most definitely schedule screen time especially for the little one. I like to break it up throughout the day and try a craft with him. Take him outside to play or draw with sidewalk chalk. He loves being outside! So mom’s just make a time out of the day to say it’s outside time.

Ice cream outing are always fun to break up the mid-week spring break craze. We love Fair oaks pharmacy in South Pasadena it’s such a cute ice cream parlor.

Lastly I want to plan a hiking day. So I will gather some fam and get a hike in for the week off. I think this is a fun way to get together with others during spring break.

Well I hope you all have fun breaks with the kiddos! Till next post.

100th Blog post

100th Blog post

Hello Ladies! Today’s post is quite special. It’s my 100th post. And for that I am truly proud of myself. About 100 post ago, I was so nervous to press publish. I didn’t think anyone would care to read or even look at my Blog. But I published it anyway, and I’m so happy I did. I’ve had so much fun writing my Blog. I’m able to use my creative side and keep up with fashion like I love. I do run into some struggles, at times I feel like I’m not doing a good job, But I stop and tell myself that I am.

Putting yourself out there in this saturated world of blogging is scary. But I’m confident in myself enough to keep going.

I love sharing with you all and coming up with new things to write about. All my post really do come from my heart. I write like I’m talking to my friends, Which you are all my friends.

I plan on keeping this up until life doesn’t allow it. But until then I will continue to bring weekly blogs and fun photos.

I want to thank My photographer Wendy for supporting my vision from the beginning! Look girl 100 post later! And to the Hubby for being the best instagram husband ever, he gets low for those photos, LOL! And to all of you for taking the time to read and message me, It means the world to me. Cheers to 100 more!

Taking you down memory lane! Till next post.
